Booking Terms & Conditions


Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.  You must not make any booking unless you understand and agree with the following terms and conditions. 

In addition to our booking terms and conditions your travel agent will have their own terms and conditions which will apply to any booking you make through them.  Please make yourself aware of any such terms and conditions.

WEBSITE, BROCHURES AND PRINTED MARKETING MATERIAL:

While Beyond Dream Travels has exercised reasonable care and skill to ensure that the contents of its marketing collateral is correct, accurate and up-to-date at the time of publishing, please note that the content is based on information supplied to us by third-party suppliers and we do not have, and cannot be reasonably expected to have, personal knowledge about all of the facilities or services provided by each supplier; and facilities or services may change after the date of publication.  Prior to making a booking, you should check with your travel agent for all up-to-date prices and inclusions.  Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy and currency of the information in our marketing collateral, errors or omissions may occur.  Where we become aware of any errors or omissions we will notify our retail partners.  All prices and content in the marketing collateral is subject to change.

BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS:

To make a booking, select the holiday of your choice and contact your licensed or AFTA travel agent or us directly if you don’t have a preferred travel agent to request a reservation for you.  All reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.  Any verbal quote given is an estimate only and can only be confirmed when the reservation is confirmed and the deposit is received for Flexible priced products, or full payment received for Restrictive priced products.  When a booking is made, the person making the booking is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all people named in the booking.  The contract will be governed by and subject to these terms and conditions. 

PRICES:

All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice.  Prices are in Australian dollars and are valid for travel departing Australia (unless otherwise stated).  Unless otherwise stated, prices are inclusive of applicable taxes and charges that apply to your booking as at the date of quoting, but they do not include any fees for optional items which are payable directly to third parties.

Unforeseen escalation in fuel prices, new taxes/levies on hotels and transportation services or any hikes in entrance fees. Any large tax hikes and new levies shall be payable extra and shall be billed accordingly with reasonable prior notice.

In the event of any unavoidable circumstance we reserve the right to change and reduce the coverage and sequence of the above itinerary. Therefore, In the event of adverse traffic conditions or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to change the itinerary without prior notice.

Prices are valid for travel during the specified travel dates.  A single supplement may apply.  Child prices are based on two adults and one child sharing existing bedding, unless otherwise specified.  Charges may apply for roll-away beds, cots or additional bedding.  Please contact your travel agent for up-to-date prices.

PLEASE NOTE – For all payments converted from foreign currency into Australian dollars, if a cancellation arises, the refund amount will be processed back to the traveller at the exchange rate at which it was collected from the traveller.

Due to currency fluctuations quotes are valid for 24 hours only and are subject to availability at the time of booking.

CHANGE AND CANCELLATION FEES

Subject to your refund and remedy rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the following change and cancellation fees apply to all bookings made with BeyondDream Travels.

Changes to Domestic bookings will incur a fee of $30 per passenger per booking in addition to supplier fees.

Cancellations to Domestic bookings will incur a fee of $50 per passenger per booking in addition to supplier fees.

Changes to International bookings will incur a fee of $75 per passenger per booking in addition to supplier fees.

Cancellations to International bookings will incur a fee of $100 per passenger per booking in addition to supplier fees.

SUPPLIER CHANGE AND CANCELLATION FEES

Cancelled bookings may also incur supplier fees, which can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Supplier fees may also apply where a booking is changed and when tickets or documents are re-issued. Where we incur any liability for a supplier cancellation fee for any booking which you change or cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee.

Cancellations must be advised in writing, and sent via e-mail. Cancellations are effective on the day they are received by the Company. Recorded delivery is strongly recommended. The following cancellation charges will be payable,

ACCOMMODATION, TOUR PACKAGES & TRANSPORT:

Having accepted your booking, should it become necessary for you to cancel your reservation 60 days or more prior to departure date, your deposit only shall be forfeited. Cancellations made within 60 days of departure date will incur the following charges:

Tours to Sri Lanka & Maldives

Between 51 and 60 days – forfeit of deposit

Between 40 and 50 days – 50% of total ground arrangement cost

Between 31 and 39 days – 75% of total ground arrangement cost

30 or Less than 30 days – no refund of total ground arrangement cost

Other Destinations (Please recheck before booking)

  Between 51 and 60 days – forfeit of deposit

  Between 30 and 50 days – 50% of total ground arrangement cost

  Between 15 and 29 days – 75% of total ground arrangement cost

  14 or Less than 14 days – no refund of total ground arrangement cost

DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENTS

You will be required to pay a deposit or deposits when booking. Your consultant will advise you of how much that will be.  Please see your invoice for more information on deposit and/or final payment dates. All deposits are non-refundable for changes of mind or cancellations by you (subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law). Final payment is required no later than 90 Days prior to departure unless otherwise stated. Some airfares or services must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Tours to Sri Lanka & Maldives

A booking is accepted only after we receive written confirmation from you along with full payment OR a non-refundable deposit of $250. (This may be waived solely at our discretion).

For Peak Season Bookings 50% advance payment of total value is required.

REFUNDS:

Subject to the travellers refund and remedy rights under the Australian Consumer Law, no refund is available for cancellations after travel has commenced or in respect of any tours, accommodation, meals or any other services not utilised.  Subject to the travellers refund and remedy rights under the Australian Consumer Law, requests for refunds received more than six months after the departure date for travel will not be accepted.  All refunds will be processed via your booking travel agent.

PAYMENTS BY CREDIT CARD:

Our products are sold through registered travel agents, online and direct. 

All prices quoted are for payment by cash or EFT transfers only. you wish to pay by credit card, a service fee will apply. Please check with your consultant for further details. Credit card surcharges apply when paying by credit card.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS:

All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least 6 months validity from the date of return and some countries require a machine-readable passport. When assisting with an international travel booking, we will assume that all travellers on the booking have a valid Australian passport. If this is not the case, you must let us know. It is important that you ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility (except to the extent caused by fault on our part). If you need information regarding visas, passports and other travel document requirements for your trip, please let your consultant know. We can provide you with general information on visa and passport requirements that apply to international travel bookings you make with us. Our consultants can also obtain more specific information from an external visa advisory service provider on your behalf (if you wish, we can assist you to obtain visas through this external service and fees will apply). We do not warrant the accuracy of information provided by any external service and accept no liability for any loss or damage which you may suffer in reliance on it (except to the extent caused by fault on our part).

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover your travel arrangements. Travel insurance is also strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for all overseas travel.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:

Travel documents include, without limitation, airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Please review travel documentation carefully and advise us immediately of any errors in names, dates or timings.  It is your responsibility to collect all travel documents prior to travel.

FREQUENT FLYER

When booking with one of our consultants; please let them know your frequent flyer membership details (or other applicable loyalty program details) for inclusion in your booking. Please check your frequent flyer program (or other applicable loyalty program) for the specific terms of your membership. We cannot guarantee that the supplier will credit you with points for your booking. Please retain your boarding passes and copies of tickets for point verification against your statement. Without these you may be unable to claim points.

TRAVEL ADVICE:

We make no representations as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.  We recommend that travellers contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) or visit their website at www.smartraveller.gov.au for general travel advice, as well as specific advice (including safety alert levels) relating to the destination they wish to visit.  Travellers can also register their travel plans with DFAT, so that they may be more easily contacted in an emergency.

HEALTH:

It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure that they are aware of any health requirements for their travel destinations and to ensure that they carry all necessary vaccination documentation.

NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE OF HOLIDAY:

All passengers are responsible for the cost of their own travel arrangements to and from their departure point (as set out in the relevant marketing collateral).  The cost of anything not specifically noted as being included in the holiday package is at the traveller’s expense.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS:

Product descriptions featured in our marketing collateral are based on information provided by third party suppliers.  Any facilities shown as included are subject to change at any time.  Tours may not operate on certain dates, and durations and departure times are approximate only.  The standard of accommodation and other services is based on various factors, which are generally accepted as indicative of a certain class.  However, Beyond Dream Travels does not guarantee the standard, class or fitness for purpose of that accommodation or service.

MAPS AND IMAGES:

Maps are shown for general information and are an indication only.  They may not necessarily reflect actual routings, hotel and attraction locations or services provided.  Photographs show places in the geographic areas, but are not necessarily included in the holiday.  Hotel room photographs are representative only, and the actual rooms occupied may vary in decor and inclusions from those shown.  Many images are supplied courtesy of tourist bureaus, hotels and tour operators.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Please liaise with your travel agent regarding any special requirements you may have for your travel arrangements such as special meal and seating requests, room type or disabled access.

RECONFIRMATIONS

It is your responsibility to reconfirm your flight with the local airline office at least 24 hours prior to departure. Failure to reconfirm may result in the cancellation of some reservations.

Check in procedures

Domestic:

For Domestic check in, please be at the Airport 60 minutes prior to departure. Please ensure you have valid identification for check in.

International:

For International check in, please be at the Airport 2-3 hours prior to departure. Please ensure you have a valid passport.

Additional information such as an E-Ticket and itinerary should be carried for Immigration and Customs requirements for all other countries. Please ensure that your carry-on luggage does not contain liquids over 10ml and that they are in a plastic bag 20cm x 20cm. SERVICE GUARANTEES:

Our booking and advisory services come with a guarantee that: they[R1]  will be provided with reasonable care and skill; they will be fit for the particular purpose; they will be charged a reasonable price (when the price is not set); and they will be completed within a reasonable time.  If we fail to meet any of these guarantees, travellers have rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

PRIVACY POLICY:

We are committed to protecting your personal information and agree to handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available online at www.beyonddreamtravels.com.au/conditions/privacy-policy or ask your travel agent for details. 

BAGGAGE AND AIRFARE ANCILLARIES:

Carriers publish baggage allowances applicable for carriage over their own services.  Allowances on full-service carriers include cabin baggage and checked baggage.

This notice (sometimes referred to as this “policy”) describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use this website (“Website”), any of our mobile applications (“Apps”) or our social media pages (“Social Media”, and together with our Website and Apps, “Our Services”), our practices regarding your information and how we will treat it.

1. Information We May Collect About You and How We Collect It

We may collect several types of information from and about you, including information:

(a) By which you may be personally identified, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, credit card number, passport numbers (and information available on your passport) or any other identifier allowing you to be contacted; and

(b) That is about you or your device, such as usage details, IP addresses and information collected through cookies (together with subdivision (a) above, “Personal Information”).

(b) Within BeyondDream Travels (including its affiliates);

(c) To contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our Services and who are bound by contractual obligations and/or applicable data privacy and security laws to keep your Personal Information confidential, including our third-party service providers who process credit card payments and third parties who collect persistent identifiers on our Services (including, for example, Google Analytics);

(g) For any other purpose with your consent.

We may also disclose your Personal Information:

(b) To enforce or apply our Terms & Conditions and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes; or

5. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed toward or intended for use by children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 18.

Individuals under the age of 18 are prohibited from using the Services and must at all times use the Services only in conjunction with and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years of age. In all such cases, the adult is the user and is responsible for any and all activities.

6. Data Security

We have implemented technological and security measures to reduce the risk of loss, misuse or unauthorized disclosure of your Personal Information. Although we implement such measures to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information transmitted to our Services, or thereafter. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer or mobile device. Be sure to sign-off when finished using a shared computer or mobile device, and you are strongly encouraged to use other reasonable measures to secure your sensitive information.

We may provide (and permit other parties to provide) links to other websites or resources. By use of our Services, you acknowledge and agree that (a) we have no control of such websites and resources, (b) we are not responsible for the availability of such websites or resources, and (c) we do not endorse and are not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products or other materials on or available from such websites or resources. You further acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such website or resource.

8. Social Media Pages

We may have Social Media pages and/or accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and any other Social Media platforms, which permit you to post public messages or responses to articles, comments or other postings. You should be aware that by submitting such a posting, including any Personal Information in connection with it, it is likely to become public.

We reserve the right to remove any posting or content in a posting on our Social Media pages at our sole and absolute discretion.
