Airport (Katunayaka) - Negombo
Arrival in Sri Lanka. You will be welcomed by your host and local guide to this magical island. Transferred directly to your hotel in Negombo. Evening you will be provided with a city tour and chance to shop at exotic vintage boutiques.

NEGOMBO – PINNAWALA – KANDY
After a delicious taste of tropical breakfast at the hotel, you will be on route to Kandy. On route, you will be offered the chance to take a glimpse into the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. In the late afternoon enjoy the cultural dance.

SIGIRIYA – KANDY
Followed with the traditional/western breakfast at the hotel, you will be gracing the land of kings, proceed to Kandy. Enjoy a simple, yet a luxurious trip to this cultural town. Known to be a bustling city with a lake in middle, Kandy is an epitome of the both Sri Lankan and British empires. Considered as the last kingdom city, it is adorned with various traditional arts and crafts which you will discover during your tour. Be sure to enjoy our visit to the Woodcarving & Gem shop, Gem Museum, Kandy Bazar/markets and a visit to a Batik Factory while going through the upper lake drive.
Visit Temple of Tooth
Temple of Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa) is a sacred temple with the history backing down to 1687. The octagonal shape and golden roofs are the most memorable piece of architecture of this place, in which you will be able to visit the Relics of the Lord Buddha. Although the actual tooth is not shown, the casket will be shown twice per day, during the worshipping (Theawawa) hours.

Kandy – Knuckles Range - Kandy
After another breakfast at the hotel which is famous for their hot roti served with a sizzling curry of lentils, you will be ready to conquer the knuckles mountain range, a true beauty in the Central Province of the country with mist and cool breeze. After a trek through the Knuckles Range, take a moment to celebrate the pleasantly sore legs and enjoy the evening with a cool glass of your preferred beverage.

One of the main UNESCO world heritage sites in Sri Lanka. Named after a mountain range resembling the set of knuckles in the closed fist, this is exceptionally popular among natural scientists, zoologists, and anyone who loves to immerse themselves in the wonders of Mother Nature.
Kandy - Dambana – Dambulla
Adorned with ‘Kandy delicacies’ be sure to try every dish served in the breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast will be served at early morning, getting you to embark on the journey to visits the cultural highlight of the tour.
Visits to Vedda Community in Dambana – tracking back to 1880 B.C Veddahs represent the first ever residents of this tiny island. Closely-knit communities of Veddahs still operate within their cultural norms. Especially their traditions, and some of their dances ‘Kiri Koraha “is a tribal dance, sensing roots to other surviving indigenous communities in the world. As the major highlight of the tour, you will be meeting the chief of the tribe, Uruwarige Wanniyalatto who heads his tribe with a steel-like a grip while showing a much more human candour. He is most worried about the commercialization of their tribe and hence tries to limit visitors and also to allow the wonders of modern-day miracles spill over to their tribe – without destroying their heritage. Be prepared to respect their customs and to experience the true essence of culture.
After the Visit to Dambana, move into the Safari visit to Wasgamuwa National Park. Wasgamuwa is the only national park to take a glimpse of the Sri Lankan leopard in their natural habitat and especially the wild bears.

Kandy – Dambulla
After the Hustle and bustle of Kandy, the entire group will be assisted to move into Dambulla and finally to Minneriya.
Visit Dambulla Cave Temple
Dambulla cave temple is a part of the Historical golden triangle in Sri Lanka. Known for the complex architecture of the cave, this cave temple is built adjoining to a magnificent cave encrusted ta rock.
Minneriya National Park
If you have watched Disney’s ‘ Monkey Kingdoms ‘ which was majority shot at Sri Lanka, you may find this landscape familiar. With more than 300 wild elephants seen around the park, you will be directed towards the catchment area of the lake where elephants roam leisurely. Apart from elephants, Minneriya Park is famous for numerous sightings even during the day for, wild boar, wild buffaloes, deer, leopards, crocodiles, numerous species of birds, sambur, Sloth bear, Jackals, reptiles and many even rare butterflies.

DAY 6
Dambulla-Sigiriya- Dambulla
After a delicious taste of tropical breakfast at the hotel, you will be on route to the most Instagram worthy city of Sri Lanka – Sigiriya to climb Sigiriya, the only rock fortress in the country.
Afternoon, move into the Safari visit to Wasgamuwa National Park. Wasgamuwa is the only national park to take a glimpse of the Sri Lankan leopard in their natural habitat and especially the wild bears.

Dambulla – Trincomalee
Enjoy your breakfast, and proceed to Eastern beaches of the island. Many tourists do not get the chance to visits this beautiful coastal town since they are not immersing themselves with everything that this country has to offer. Take a moment to enjoy the change of scenery while you are whisked away to Trincomalee, ‘Trinco “as the locals fondly call it.
Hot springs – if you are looking for a medicinal bath from a hot spring, be ready to take a plunge or not, in the natural hot spring in Trinco.
Natural Harbour – this is the safest natural harbours in the world with the contribution of Mother Nature.
Apart from these, be sure to immerse yourself in British war cemetery, Trinco fort, Thiriyai Vata-da-age and Nilaveli one of the most iconic beaches in the Country. Locals are head over heels in love with this beach, the reason for you to see it from your own eyes.

Trincomalee
After a traditional breakfast, get your snorkel equipment and ready to dive down to enjoy the luxurious Pigeon Island (Optional). One of the most memorable tiny islands in the country – the surrounding sea of Pigeon Island boasts of a number of endemic inhabitants. Take a rocky boat ride sailing through the Indian Ocean and spend the day among coral reefs and rich marine life.

Trincomalee – Anuradhapura
After another memorable breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visits Anuradhapura, an iconic Kingdom city in the North Central province. Anuradhapura was the richest capital of Si Lanka and home to several kings who changed the course of history. Ruwanweliseya – a monument in honour of Lord Buddha is a must-see for any traveller who wants to understand the depth of faith that the Sri Lankan carried during 140 B.C.

Anuradhapura – Negombo (Meals – B/-/-)
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Negombo, getting you pleasantly ready for the latter half of the trip. Negombo is one of the most happening towns in Sri Lanka. Known for its nightlife, there are many little trinkets to roam, which your local guide will be more than happy to show. After the whirlwind of tours – take a chilled beer and nestle into a cane armchair and just “CHILL”.
