Airport – Negombo
Arrive in Negombo and your driver will meet you for the short transfer to this lovely hotel. Once at the comforts of your hotel, relax and recover from any jet lag at the Ayurveda centre. If you have spare time, your chauffeur guide will introduce you to some of Negombo’s curious sites such the Dutch churches, perhaps take a boat ride along the Dutch canals or laze on the golden sands.

DAY 02
Negombo - Sigiriya
Set off from coastal Negombo to experience the inland delights of Sri Lanka. Relish this picturesque journey as you pass Kurunagala’s towering Lord Buddha statue upon a rock, the rice paddy fields and more. Arrive at your residence where you will staying in your very own dwelling – a villa upon stilts overlooking the wetlands. DAY 03
Sigiriya
After breakfast; climb the rock fortress of Sigiriya.
World Heritage listed site, also known as the “Fortress in the Sky”. The climb up to the top of the fortress doesn’t only offer the reward of breathtaking views but there is so much to discover during your climb to the top. Highlights of the climb include water gardens, artistic frescoes, mirror wall, the lion gate and the magnificent views from the rock summit.

DAY 04
Sigiriya- Kandy
After breakfast at the hotel you will be driven to the ancient and Buddhist city of Kandy, also world famous as the home of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. En-route stops at Matale Spice Garden and Alu Vihara Temple complex.
Arrive at Kandy; enjoy a short tour around the lake, Embekke Temple complex, Lankatilake temple, Gadaladeniya temples before checking in at the hotel.

Kandy
After breakfast at the hotel join the morning pooja at Kandy Temple of the Tooth Relic followed by a visit to the Queen’s Hotel Kandy, one of the most famous and colonial hotels.
Spend rest of the day at leisure or take a guided stroll through the lush Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya for an introduction to tropical flora.

Hatton
This morning takes a guided walk through the tea plantation and then a tea factory. During the tea factory visit a) you will see the processing of tea leaves and b) how tea is graded. Be sure to take a moment and taste a cup of Ceylon tea and enjoy its aroma and a slight hint of citrus, unique only to the Ceylon blend.
Spend the afternoon at leisure.
