Kandy Full Day Tour
This day tour is recommended for tourists staying in Kandy or surrounding suburbs. It is advisable to plan and book 1-2 nights’ accommodation around Kandy. (Please inquire after booking to help you with best accommodation option)
Peradeniya Botanical Gardens:
It was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It covers approximately 147 acres and is a stroller’s paradise with extensive well-kept lawns, pavilions, an octagon conservatory, fernery, a giant Javan fig tree and numerous flower beds. The best attraction is the orchid House where you can discover more than 1000 plants.

Tour of Kandy:
The Hill capital of Kandy lies picturesquely surrounded by mountains. Kandy is also the last kingdom of Sri Lanka and is a bustling city. The tour of Kandy includes (Upper lake drive, visit to a Wood carving & Gem shop, Gem Museum, Kandy Bazzar/markets and visit to a Batik Factory).
During the city tour you will enjoy your lunch at a famous Restaurant.
Temple of Tooth:
▪ Temple opening hours 6:00am – 8:00pm.
▪ We recommend that you wear light coloured clothing – preferably white attire, however not essential. Please wear clothing covering knees and shoulders, as a sign of respect. You will also be required to leave your shoes at the entrance before entering the temple.
▪ Cameras are allowed in the temple at no extra cost. For video cameras a permit is required which can be obtained at the entrance for around Rs 300).
