Airport (Pick up Location Specified) – Colombo
You will be welcomed by your host to this magical island or you will be picked up from your hotel in Colombo/Mt Lavinia/Negombo/Kandy.
*Depending on your flight arrival time or the requested pick time from your hotel (Colombo/Mt Lavinia/Negombo/Kandy), you will be provided with a city tour in Colombo.
*If your pick-up location is on Negombo or Kandy then you will miss the city tour in Colombo. Instead you’ll be offered a city tour in Negombo or Kandy.
Overnight stay in Colombo– (Accommodation in 3-4-star hotel)
After a delicious taste of tropical breakfast at the hotel, you will be on route to the most historically enriched city of Sri Lanka – Anuradhapura. On route, you will be offered the chance to take a Safari jeep through Wilpattu National Park –to take a glimpse of the Sri Lankan leopard in their natural habitat.

Followed with a early breakfast at the hotel, you will be gracing the land of kings. Anuradhapura was the richest capital of Si Lanka and home to several kings who changed the course of history.
Ruwanweliseya – a monument in honour of Lord Buddha is a must-see for any traveller who wants to understand the depth of faith that the Sri Lankan carried during 140 B.C.
Walk alongside to visit the Sri Maha Bodhi, a sapling taken from the Bodhi Tree in India (Oldest recorded tree) – which aided and provided shelter for Lord Gautama Buddha to attain Nirvana.
Enjoy the village tour in ancient kingdom (Purana Gama)
“Purana Gama” which means “The Ancient Village” is a recreation of such an ancient, traditional hamlet which belongs to the period from 1815-1850AD. Ride a Bullock cart which is Sri Lanka’s oldest form of transportation on an unpaved trail. You’ll sense the simplicity and solemnity of a traditional Sri-Lankan Village. It’ll be an unforgettable experience in your whole life.

Polonnaruwa Ancient Kingdom
During 11th century AD, Polonnaruwa was discovered as a capital city (the Second Kingdom after Anuradhapura) y. this was the city of King Parakramabahu I’. Considered one of the most strategic rulers during the time, King Parakramabahu I’ invaded Myanmar, exported rice to other countries and made it be known as the ‘Golden age’. Due to his strategic focus, Sri Lanka was in the peak of foreign trade and agriculture at the time.

Sigiriya – Matale – Kandy – Drop off Location (Kandy, Colombo, Mt Lavinia, Negombo or at the Katunayake Airport)
Tour ends today and you will be dropped off in your hotel in Matale, Kandy, Colombo, Mt Lavinia, Negombo or at the airport for your departure flight.
If time permits visit Dambulla Cave Temple and Matale Spice Gardens.
