DAY 01

AIRPORT– NEGOMBO (X/X/X) Arrival in Sri Lanka. You will be welcomed by your host and local guide to this magical island. Transferred directly to your hotel in Negombo. Evening you will be provided with a city tour and chance to shop at exotic vintage boutiques. Overnight Stay at JETWING BLUE, NEGOMBO

DAY 02

NEGOMBO – PINNAWALA - NEGOMBO (4.5 HOURS) This morning after a breakfast overlooking the lush scenic view, head over to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage established in 1975 Started with seven orphaned elephants, today Pinnawala is the sanctuary for more than 57 elephants some of who are rescued from dire situations. Children will love this experience, make sure to visit them at bath time and see how these little baby giants are rolling in the mud, and when it’s feeding time to see their eagerness to be fed through bottles.

DAY 03

NEGOMBO –AHUNGALLA (4.5 HOURS) (B/L/D) After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Ahungalla, en-route visit Galle World Heritage Site & Stilt Fisherman. Tour of Galle: Galle, recognised as the Sothern Capital (116 km from Colombo) and is home to the popular Fort called “Santa Cruz”, which is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Fort which was initially built by the Portuguese in 1619 has been expanded and further developed by the Dutch and the British. Galle was the main seaport of Sri Lanka before Colombo and still handles shipping and cruising yachts to present. Weligama Stilt Fishermen: Enjoy the sites of local fishermen going about their daily routines. In chest-deep water just few meters off-shore, you will find the stilt fishermen, perched on a cross bar off a single pole planted into the sea-bed.
